I have been interested in nature all my life. Some of my fondest early memories are of going up to Shotover in Oxford with my dad and friends and visiting the climbing tree, a huge old Oak that stands alone on top of a hill, overlooking a field of bracken we used to play hide and seek in.

I rediscovered my passion for nature when I bought my first DSLR around ten years ago and over the years that followed I became an opportunist wildlife and landscape photographer. The camera would always come with me on country walks, and whatever I saw and managed to photograph was an added bonus to the walk.

Recently though, the scales have tilted and trips into the countryside have become more focused on seeing a specific species, scouting out a specific area, or visiting a reserve or sanctuary. This change in focus, driven by my love of photography, has given me the opportunity to explore far more of the UK than I could have hoped for.

We live on a beautiful island, with beautiful countryside and landscapes, and have some amazing wildlife. Welcome to my photography portfolio, where I have tried to capture some of this beauty and wildlife. I hope you enjoy it.
